Danny Kowalski. Owner-operator.
11 years roofing in Colorado. Crew of 4. Mostly referrals and Google. He's on every job — before the quote, during the install, and after the cleanup.
Started in 2014. Still here. Still doing it himself.
Danny spent his twenties on other people's crews. He got good at the work — and got a front-row seat to every shortcut the industry runs on. Subcontractors who disappear after the sale. Estimators who quote one thing and install another. Material swaps nobody told the homeowner about.
When he started Peak Edge in 2014, the rule was simple: if he wouldn't put it on his own mother's house, it doesn't go on yours. That's held up through 11 years, 1,200+ roofs, and more hail seasons than he can count.
The crew is small by design — four guys who've worked together for years. No revolving door of subs. Danny is on every roof before the quote, during the install, and after the final walkthrough. If something isn't right, he fixes it before he leaves.
"I'd rather turn down a job than do it the wrong way. That's why we still have homeowners from 2015 calling us back for their neighbors."
Licensed, certified, accountable.
Licensed & Insured
Colorado state contractor license. Full general liability and workers' comp insurance. Your insurance company will ask — we have everything in order.
GAF Certified Installer
GAF certification means factory-backed warranties and verified installation standards. Not every contractor can offer this — the training and audit requirements are real.
Aurora-based, locally owned
We live and work here. Danny's crew is based in Aurora — not dispatched from a regional HQ. When hail season hits, we're already in the neighborhood.
Workmanship warranty
On top of the manufacturer's 25–50 year shingle warranty, we back our own work. If it leaks because of how we installed it, we fix it — no argument.
Crew of 4 — no subcontractors
Same four guys, every job. They've worked together for years. You're not getting a day-labor crew — you're getting people who take pride in the finished product.
4.3★ on Google · 54 reviews
Not a padded number — 54 real reviews from homeowners across Aurora, Centennial, Parker, and the rest of the Denver metro.

Owner on every job
Danny inspects every roof before quoting, visits during the install, and does the final walkthrough. There's no estimator who hands off to a sub you've never met. If you have a question, you call Danny directly.
Show up when you say you will
It sounds obvious. In this industry it's rare. If we schedule an inspection for Tuesday at 9, Danny is there at 9. If something comes up, he calls you — not the other way around.
Tell the homeowner the truth
If the roof doesn't need replacing, Danny will tell you that. He's left jobs where he could have sold a $14,000 replacement and instead told the owner they have three good years left. Those homeowners call back — with their neighbors.
Clean site, every day
Roofing is loud and messy. We clean up our debris every day before we leave. Nails are swept, materials are stacked, the yard looks like a work zone — not a disaster. We use magnetic rollers to catch nails in the grass and driveway.
